Cherise Serfontein
BSc Sport Science (University of Pretoria) · BSc(Hons) Biokinetics (University of Pretoria, cum laude) · Mat Pilates (BASI & HFPA) · Sports Massage
Cherise has been practising as a biokineticist since 2019. In 2024 she founded MyoMerge, the movement and recovery studio built on that clinical foundation.
Her approach starts with objective, individualised assessment: every programme is built on real data and is adjusted as the data changes. She believes movement belongs at the heart of a person's care, whether it be recovering from an injury or managing a chronic condition.
Outside of the practice she has tried nearly every form of movement, from netball and jiu jitsu to indoor climbing, Pilates and running, and is a committed Springbok supporter.
She's deeply passionate about her work, the people in her life, and building a community. That same energy is carried into each of her sessions.
Orthopaedics, Equestrian Rehab & Performance, Paediatrics and Development, Tension Headache Management, and Women's Health (including PMOS, endometriosis & high-risk pregnancy)
